Booking Terms & Conditions

General Deposit and Final Payment

At the time of booking your credit card will be charged a deposit of $200 by Aruba Surf Resort along with a percentage of the booking tariff deducted by eTourism Holidays. The balance of the tariff is due upon Check in. A Credit Card is required on Check in for security purposes. If a credit card cannot be provided upon check-in, than a $200 cash security deposit is required. We accept Eftpos, Mastercard & Visa. Please note we do not accept cheques as final payment.


Commonwealth Games 2018 Payments

At the time of booking your credit card will be charged 100% of the booking tariff. A Credit Card is required on Check in for security purposes. If a credit card cannot be provided upon check-in, than a $200 cash security deposit is required. We accept Eftpos, Mastercard & Visa. Please note we do not accept cheques as final payment.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Policy, general seasons: 

In the event of a cancellation made outside of 7 days prior to arrival, guests will incur a $50 cancellation fee to be processed by Aruba Surf Resort. 
Guests cancelling within 7 days of arrival or "no show" will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booking to be processed by Aruba Surf Resort. 

Once guests are in house, no refunds will be made for shortened stay. 

* Please note that the eTourism Holidays deposit is non-refundable. 

Cancellation Policy, Commonwealth Games 2018, 28/03/2018 - 18/04/2018: 

In the event of a cancellation made outside of 30 days prior to arrival, guests will incur a $500 cancellation fee to be processed by Aruba Surf Resort. 
Guests cancelling within 30 days of arrival or "no show" will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booking to be processed by Aruba Surf Resort.
No amendments accepted within 30 days of arrival, minimum 7 night stay during Commonwealth Games period.

Once guests are in house, no refunds will be made for shortened stay. 

* Please note that the eTourism Holidays deposit is non-refundable. 

´╗┐Unit Allocation

In the event of any unforseen circumstances unit allocation may need to be altered to a unit of equal value. Please note that Managers cannot be held responsible should this situation occur. 

Maximum numbers of people as per the booked rate apply; Management reserves the right to evict guest if numbers are exceeded. 

Early Departure

No refunds will be given on Early Departure. 

Noise

Please appreciate, there are others close by. Visitors must vacate the building by 9.00pm. Excessive noise will not be tolerated and Management reserves the right to eject unruly guests. One warning only will be given and thereafter Security will be called to evict, no refund will be given for the booking.

* Definition of Noise: If other people can hear your Music, TV and/or Voices from outside your Apartment after 10.00pm, then it is Noise. 

Telephone / Fax Service

A telephone is provided in each Apartment for your convenience. The cost of telephone calls is based on hotel/motel rates. A fax is available at reception for your use. Charges will apply for sending and receiving faxes. 

Lost Property

Management and Owners take no responsibility for items left on the premises. 

Valuables

Aruba Surf Resort will not be reliable for any loss of valuables.

Aruba Surf Resort advises Guests not to leave Balcony Sliding doors or windows open when not in the Apartment. 

Lost Keys & Remotes

Keys that are not returned upon check-out will be charged to your credit card at $50.00 per set.

Cleaning

To avoid extra cleaning charges please leave your Apartment tidy on departure. All Apartments are fully Self-Contained and are required to be left in a clean & tidy condition. Please ensure all dishes, pots & cooking utensils are thoroughly washed, dried & stored in the cupboards.

All rubbish needs to be totally removed prior to departure. Bins are located at the end of the drive-way, access via the basement. Recycling bin is the Yellow Lid bin and the Black Lid bin is for all other rubbish.

Apartments are not serviced daily. A booking of 9 nights or more will receive a mid stay service half way through your stay.

Please leave BBQ Clean & Tidy after use, ready for the next Guest to use. 

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside Apartments. Smoking outside on Balconies ONLY. Costs of extra laundering, deodorising of linen/apartments will be charged to guests if smoking inside Apartments. 

Check-in/Check-Out

Check-out is strictly 10am. If you require a late check-out please contact reception before the day of departure. Check-in is from 2pm.
